Siggie is short for signature-picture.                                                                       A siggie appears at the bottom of every post you make on a board.

Your signature can consist of text, a graphic or both.                                          It's a great way to express your feelings or make a public statement.

Although a siggie is highly personal, respect your audience.                          Don't use violent or in other way offensive images or foul language                 and stay within the rules of the board.

 

And last but not least . . .  be moderate on the size of your picture.            Siggies that are huge in size, will be extremely slow to open                           and dominate the pages in an annoying  way.

 

 

Most boards recommend siggies no bigger than 300 pixels on the           longest side and a filesize not exceeding 60kb.
